Due to the most unfortunate circumstances Senate Bills (SB) 326 & 721 were passed in an effort to compel HOA's, CID's and Apartment Communities to inspect Exterior Elevated Elements (EEE) and repair any deteriorated or failing structural components. This may consist of but not limited to balconies, walkways, stairways or any element that is elevated 6' or more above ground level.

How We Can Help?
1) Education & Awareness
In 2015 a terrible balcony collapse resulted in the loss of six lives. Unfortunately this type of loss and failure could have been prevented. We have seen so many neglected Exterior Elevated Elements throughout our years in the industry. The inspection and repair of these elements can seem daunting and cumbersome. That is why we have developed a program that will provide the proactive approach that residents and communities deserve. Taking the stress out of the equation so that your community can rest assured knowing that you are safe, sound and compliant.
2) Inspection
First things first, an inspection must be conducted by a licensed and qualified professional. DB Construction & Consulting can coordinate and execute inspections that will meet the compliance standards of the legislation.
3) Documentation & Reporting
This is a particularly important step for any regulatory compliance or repair project. Not only does our comprehensive reporting document existing conditions but we can also provide repair strategies and budgetary recommendations
4) Taking Action
Being proactive is not only prudent but in the case of SB-326/721 it's a requirement. Let us help your community benefit from this approach in the following ways:
Minimize Liability.
Prevent unexpected and costly assessments.
Avoid emergency repairs.
Allow for methodical repair schedules.
Preserve and Enhance property values.
Provide continued maintenance and inspection services.
